Description

A special commemorative single cask whisky from Suntory's Yamazaki Distillery, bottled under the exclusive The Owner's Cask program.

This bottle was produced to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Orient Chemical Industries, Ltd., established in 1917. Its front label prominently features the company's anniversary emblem and the dates 1917–2007, making it a distinctive corporate commemorative release.

The whisky was distilled at Yamazaki Distillery in 1996 and bottled in 2007, following approximately 11 years of maturation.

It was drawn from Cask No. AP70025, a sherry butt matured at Suntory's Ohmi Aging Cellar, and bottled at 63% ABV.

The Owner's Cask program offered individually selected whisky casks bottled for their owners. Each release carries its own cask identification, giving these whiskies a unique provenance beyond standard retail expressions.

The combination of Yamazaki single cask whisky, sherry butt maturation, and a documented 90th-anniversary corporate commission makes this an especially interesting collector's bottle.
