This single-cask Japanese whisky was distilled at Yamazaki Distillery in 1990 and bottled in 2005, indicating approximately 14–15 years of maturation depending on the exact distillation and bottling dates.

The front label identifies the cask as a Sherry Butt and the maturation location as Ohmi Aging Cellar. Bottled at a powerful 63% ABV, it represents the cask-strength style for which many Owner’s Cask releases are sought after.
