Vintage Japanese J.B.A. Whisky “Byron”, produced and distributed by Toyo Jozo Co., Ltd. in cooperation with The Japan Bartenders Association.

The original label reads “The Best Barmen’s Choice – J.B.A. Whisky” and “Byron,” making this an unusual piece of vintage Japanese whisky history.

The bottle comes with its old striped paper wrapping. The original large paper label has become detached from the bottle but is still included, together with the small label shown in the photographs.

According to the surviving labels, this bottle is 750ml, 42% ABV, 1st Grade (1級).

Condition

* Vintage bottle with significant age-related wear.
* Screw cap is present and appears closed in the photographs.
* Because of the age and construction of the closure, the bottle is not described as guaranteed unopened or factory sealed.
* Main front paper label is detached from the bottle but included.
* Neck label remains attached and shows age-related wear.
* Original striped paper wrapping is included but has substantial tears, creasing, staining and deterioration.
* Bottle surface has dust, marks, scuffs and storage wear.
* Small loose label/tag is also included as photographed.

* Due to the age of this bottle, the condition, quality, taste and drinkability of the contents cannot be guaranteed.
