Description:
A rare and highly collectible GlenDronach Single Cask release, distilled in 1992 and matured for 21 years in an Oloroso Sherry Butt, specially selected and bottled for NBA Ginza.

According to the front label, this whisky was distilled on 3 July 1992 and bottled in January 2014 after 21 years of maturation.

The whisky was matured in an Oloroso Sherry Butt, Cask No. 394, and bottled at a robust 55.5% ABV. The bottle is individually numbered 227/518, indicating a total outturn of 518 bottles from the cask.

Of particular interest to collectors, the front label states “Specially Selected and Bottled for NBA Ginza”, identifying this as a specially selected Japanese-market bottling rather than a standard Single Cask release.

The whisky displays a deep reddish mahogany/amber colour consistent with extended maturation in an Oloroso sherry cask. The liquid level is clearly visible through the neck and appears to be below the base of the neck, as shown in the supplied photographs. Please assess the fill level carefully from the images.

The bottle appears unopened. The original brown GlenDronach capsule remains fitted, although there is visible tearing/damage to the capsule around the upper perforated/seam area. The photographs show openings in the capsule material on more than one side, through which the closure underneath is visible. This should be considered part of the bottle’s condition.

Despite the capsule damage, the top of the capsule remains in place and bears the embossed The GlenDronach Distillery Co. Ltd. design.

The original GlenDronach hanging neck tag is also present and remains attached by its gold-coloured cord.

The main front labels appear generally clean and legible, with the key bottling information clearly visible. The reverse carries a Japanese-market label identifying the bottle as “The GlenDronach Single Cask 1992 Cask No.394”, together with importer/distributor information.

No original presentation tube or box is shown in the supplied photographs; therefore this listing should be treated as bottle with neck tag only, unless additional packaging is supplied separately.

カスク番号はNo.394、アルコール度数は55.5%。ボトル番号は手書きで227/570と記載されており、このカスクから570本がボトリングされたことを示しています。

特筆すべき点として、フロントラベルには

“SPECIALLY SELECTED AND BOTTLED FOR NBA GINZA”

と明記されています。通常のシングルカスクとは異なる、NBA銀座向けに特別選定・ボトリングされた日本向け限定仕様となっています。

液色はオロロソシェリー樽の長期熟成らしい、深みのある赤褐色～マホガニー系の色調です。
