Description:
A rare Japanese-market independent bottling from The Chess Extra Edition, titled “en passant”, featuring the distinctive chess-themed label design.

The front label identifies the whisky as a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and carries the designation Burnside 1989–2013. It was bottled at 52.0% ABV in a 700ml format.

The release was Selected and Bottled Exclusively for Shinanoya, making this a limited Japanese-market bottling associated with the well-known Japanese whisky retailer Shinanoya.

The label is individually numbered Bottle No. 72/278, indicating a limited outturn of only 278 bottles.
