【About Teaninich】
Teaninich is a Highland distillery founded in 1817, located near Alness in the northern Highlands of Scotland.
Rarely seen as a single malt, Teaninich is usually reserved for blending (notably Johnnie Walker), but its character is unmistakably distinct: clean, grassy, lightly herbal with firm structure.
This single cask bottling from Edition Spirits Ltd was distilled in 1982 and matured for 28 years before being bottled in 2011 at natural cask strength of 49.5%.
Released under the early design of the “First Editions” label, it is non-chill filtered and uncoloured—offering a rare and unadulterated expression of long-aged Teaninich.

【Teaninichについて】
1817年創業、スコットランド北ハイランド・アリネス近郊に位置する老舗蒸留所。
通常はシングルモルトとしてほとんど流通せず、主にジョニーウォーカーなどの原酒として使われているが、草のようにクリーンでハーバルな酒質に、しっかりした骨格があるのが特徴。
このボトルは1982年蒸留、28年熟成のシングルカスク原酒を、2011年にノンチル・ナチュラルカラー・カスクストレングスのまま瓶詰したもの。
「First Editions」シリーズ初期デザインでリリースされた1本であり、長熟ティーニニックをピュアなまま味わえる極めて貴重な1本。
