Description

A rare Suntory The Owner’s Cask single cask whisky from Yamazaki Distillery, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2010.

The front label reads “The Owner’s Cask / SUNTORY SINGLE CASK WHISKY / Yamazaki Distillery 1999”, together with the phrase:

“In anticipation of the dawn of a new whisky era”

According to the bottle label and accompanying certificate, this whisky was matured in a Sherry Butt, with Cask No. DX70141. The label also identifies the maturation location as Ohmi Aging Cellar.

The handwritten bottling number on the front label appears to be No. 52.

The included Owner’s Cask certificate identifies the bottle as 1999 Yamazaki Distillery, Cask No. DX70141 and describes the cask characteristics as Sherry Butt / Spanish Oak.

The whisky displays an exceptionally deep, dark mahogany color characteristic of heavily sherry-influenced maturation.

This is an individually selected single-cask release from Suntory’s highly collectible The Owner’s Cask series.

Condition

The bottle appears to be unopened based on the photographs.

The front label shows some age-related discoloration and light spotting. The original presentation box is included and shows noticeable age-related foxing/yellow spotting, particularly across the exterior surfaces, along with minor edge and corner wear.

The original Owner’s Cask certificate/information sheet is also included and shows some age-related wear.

液色は非常に濃く、写真上では深いダークマホガニー系の色合いです。

状態

フロントラベルには経年による変色や細かなシミが見られます。

専用箱が付属します。箱には経年による黄ばみ・茶色系の斑点状のシミ（フォクシング）が広範囲に確認できるほか、縁・角部分に軽微な傷みがあります。

オーナーズカスクの冊子も付属しており、こちらにも経年による多少の傷みが見られます。
