Description

A rare Suntory The Owner’s Cask Yamazaki single cask whisky, distilled at Yamazaki Distillery in 1995 and bottled in 2008.

The front label is specially marked:

The individual cask number is 5P70005. The accompanying Owner’s Cask document confirms the same 1995 Yamazaki Distillery / Cask No. 5P70005 details.

The rear label states an exceptionally high bottling strength of 62% ABV and a volume of 700ml.

According to the accompanying tasting sheet, the cask characteristics are listed as Puncheon / White Oak, with a golden color. The aroma is described with notes of fruit, citrus and vanilla, while the palate is described as slightly sweet and clean. The finish is described as slightly sweet with good definition.

Suntory’s Owner’s Cask program offered individually selected casks bottled for their owners, making each cask-specific release distinct.
