A rare pre-war vintage Macallan–Glenlivet distilled in 1938 and matured for 35 years in sherry wood, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail.
These extremely old G&M bottlings represent some of the earliest available releases of Macallan matured entirely in sherry casks, prized for their depth, concentration, and historical importance.

On the nose, it opens with antique sherry aromas—polished oak, old leather, dark raisins, fig jam, walnut, and subtle rancio.
The palate is rich and velvety: dried fruits, cocoa powder, aged madeira, roasted nuts, and deep oxidative complexity typical of long-aged sherried Macallan.
The finish is exceptionally long, combining old oak, spice, dried figs, and a refined, almost cognac-like maturity.

A highly collectible pre-war Macallan with great historical significance.
