Distilled in 1991 and matured for 21 years in a single Sherry Butt (#9091), this release showcases the unmistakable intensity of late-era Karuizawa — dense sherry sweetness, dark fruit, cocoa, and espresso bitterness balanced by a long, elegant finish.
The manga-style label, drawn under Broom’s supervision, depicts the writer himself inside the Karuizawa warehouse, symbolizing the rebirth of a lost distillery’s spirit.
