About Karuizawa Distillery

Karuizawa Distillery was established in 1955 in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, near Mount Asama.

Known for its traditional whisky-making methods and sherry-cask maturation, Karuizawa produced richly characterful single malt whiskies that have become highly sought after by collectors worldwide.

Whisky production ceased in 2000, making surviving mature casks and original bottlings increasingly significant pieces of Japanese whisky history.

The Noh Whisky series is distinguished by its dramatic labels featuring traditional Japanese Noh masks.

Noh is one of Japan's oldest surviving forms of classical theatre, renowned for its expressive masks, symbolism and refined performance traditions.

Condition

The bottle is accompanied by the presentation box shown in the photographs.

The closure has a wooden-style top with a clear protective covering.

The front label appears well preserved and legible. The whisky is dark in colour, and the fill level appears high.

The presentation box shows visible storage wear, including light discolouration, small marks and creasing.
