Notes:
This limited bottling from the now-closed Imperial Distillery was specially selected by Whisky Magazine as an “Editor’s Choice” release in collaboration with Duncan Taylor.
Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2009 from an American oak hogshead, only 252 bottles were produced.

Tasting notes (official):
• Nose: Herbal, autumn leaves, cotton, sharp green fruits, lemon, and caramel.
• Palate: Creamy, malty sweetness with green fruit, coconut, and toasted marshmallow.
• Finish: Gentle oak spice, malt, and sweetness balanced with citrus zest.

A distinctive and elegant Speyside malt showcasing the light, creamy profile that made Imperial famous — and since the distillery’s demolition in 2013, bottles like this are now part of history.

ウイスキーライブ創設期の象徴的な1本で、ダンカン・テイラー社による高品質なホグスヘッド熟成。

ハーバルな香りと秋の木の葉、ココナッツやトフィーのような柔らかな甘味。
後半には心地よいオークスパイスが広がる、バランスの取れたモルト。

インペリアル蒸溜所は2013年に完全に解体され、現在は幻の存在。
本ボトルはその記憶をとどめる最後期のヴィンテージとして高いコレクター価値を持つ。
