Description:

A rare independently bottled Imperial Distillery 1995 18 Year Old, released under “The Taster” label and bottled for Scotch Malt Sales Ltd.

Imperial is a Speyside distillery whose name has become increasingly sought after among enthusiasts of closed and lost Scottish distilleries. This particular bottling represents spirit distilled at Imperial in 1995 and matured for 18 years before bottling.

The front label prominently identifies the whisky as “The Taster – Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky” and states “Distilled 1995 at Imperial Distillery – Aged 18 Years.”

The bottle was selected by M. Yoshino, whose signature-style name appears prominently on the front label.

According to the label, this whisky was bottled at 56.2% ABV and comes from Cask No. 50349. The 56.2% strength indicates a high-strength presentation, and the label describes The Taster releases as being bottled at cask strength from a single cask in order to maintain their original style and character.
