A Special Piece of Whisky History
Brora is one of Scotland's most celebrated historic single malt distilleries. Production ceased in 1983, and original-era Brora bottlings have become highly sought after by whisky enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
This particular expression was distilled in 1977, during Brora's original production era, and matured for 26 years before its special release in 2003.
According to the front label, this was the second Editors' Choice bottling, specially selected to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Whisky Magazine.
The front label bears printed signatures associated with Michael Jackson and Marcin Miller, two influential figures in whisky writing and appreciation.
The reverse label includes detailed tasting notes describing a fresh, green, vegetal aroma, a complex sweet-and-dry palate, and a spicy, aromatic finish.
