Distilled at Bowmore Distillery on Islay in 2001 and bottled in 2013 after 12 years of maturation. The whisky was matured in a refill butt and bottled at a substantial 52.9% ABV.

Only 484 bottles were produced. The label also specifies Natural Colour and Unchill-Filtered, making this a characterful independent bottling presented without added colouring or chill filtration.

The Liquid Library series is particularly recognizable for its minimalist, typography-led label design, and this bottle prominently displays the large orange “12” denoting its age.
