Only 151 bottles were produced from Cask No. 3316, and this example is individually numbered 73/151.

A Rare 1960s Bowmore

Bowmore is one of Islay's most historic distilleries, renowned for its distinctive island single malt whisky.

Whiskies distilled at Bowmore during the 1960s are especially admired by collectors, representing an important era in the distillery's production history.

This expression was distilled in 1966 and matured for four decades before being selected and bottled by Duncan Taylor for its Rare Auld collection.

With only 151 bottles produced from Cask No. 3316, this is a particularly scarce example of long-aged vintage Bowmore.

The bottle features Duncan Taylor's distinctive presentation, including the decorative Rare Auld neck design, individually numbered label and matching blue-and-gold presentation box.

Condition

Original front label and decorative neck label are present.

The bottle is individually numbered 73/151.

The gold-colored metal capsule has a visible split/tear near its upper edge.

The capsule otherwise remains in place, but the integrity of the original seal cannot be confirmed.

The whisky fill level appears around the lower neck/upper shoulder area.

The original blue presentation box is included.

The box shows some age-related scuffs, rubbing and minor edge wear.
