Description:
A distinctive independent/special-release Bowmore 12 Year Old Single Malt, carrying the “Vintage Whisky 2001” designation and bottled from a single hogshead cask.
The unusually illustrated front label features a classic car motif and states:
“BOWMORE
Vintage Whisky 2001
Aged 12 Years
Single Malt Whisky
No Chill Filtration. No Colouring
Single Hogshead Cask Bottling
SSS 45th Anniversary Bottling”
The bottom of the label is marked “SAKE SHOP SATO.” This is a 700ml bottling at a relatively high 52.6% ABV, making it quite different from Bowmore’s standard 12-year-old release.
The bottle appears unopened. The black capsule remains in place; there is a small visible split/opening around the capsule’s tear-tab area, as shown clearly in the close-up photographs. The liquid level is in the neck and is also clearly documented in the photos.
The front label appears generally well preserved. A Japanese importer/retailer label is attached to the rear of the bottle. No presentation box is shown or included.
