Description:
A rare and highly aged single cask bottling of Tomintoul 1967, independently bottled by A.D. Rattray as part of its Cask Collection.

Distilled at Tomintoul Distillery on 7 April 1967 and bottled on 25 November 2010, this whisky was matured for 43 years in a Bourbon cask.

The label identifies this as Cask No. 2559, with a total outturn of only 132 bottles, making this a particularly limited single-cask release.

Bottled at 40.7% ABV and 700ml, the front label states that the whisky was un-chill filtered and bottled at cask strength.

The rear tasting label identifies the colour as “Yellow gold” and includes tasting notes referring to barley sugar, toffee apple sponge cake, lemon zest, palate notes of silky smooth and slightly oily character, and a mouthwatering finish with truffle notes.

The liquid level is visibly below the top of the neck, sitting around the lower-neck / upper-shoulder area. Given the age of this bottling and whisky, the liquid level should be assessed carefully from the supplied photographs.

The front labels remain generally clean and clearly legible. The rear labels, including the Tomintoul 1967 tasting label and Japanese importer label, are also present.

An original black cylindrical A.D. Rattray Cask Collection presentation tube is included. It retains the Cask Collection branding and corresponding Tomintoul 43-year label. The tube shows some age/storage-related wear, marks and rubbing, particularly around the exterior and top rim area.

A Japanese importer label is attached to the rear of the bottle.

本品は1967年4月7日に蒸溜、2010年11月25日に瓶詰めされたもので、熟成年数は実に43年となります。

ラベルにはBourbon Cask（バーボンカスク）／Cask Number 2559と記載されており、総ボトリング本数はわずか132本という非常に少量のシングルカスク・リリースです。

アルコール度数は40.7%、容量700ml。フロントラベルにはUN-CHILL FILTERED, BOTTLED AT CASK STRENGTHの表記が確認できます。

背面のテイスティングラベルには「TOMINTOUL 1967」と記載され、色調はYellow goldと表現されています。また、Barley sugar、toffee apple sponge cake、lemon zest、silky smooth、slightly oily、truffles等のテイスティングコメントも確認できます。

純正の黒色筒型A.D. Rattray Cask Collection化粧箱が付属します。筒箱にも同シリーズのデザインおよびトミントール43年のラベルが施されています。経年・保管に伴うスレ、傷、薄汚れ等が見受けられ、特に天面・縁部分には多少の保管跡がありますが、全体として形状は保たれています。
